Born in the United States, Yoni emigrated to Israel following the completion of his bachelor's degree in 1985, serving in the IDF as a combat medic, then living initially on kibbutz and later in Tel Aviv. Yoni returned to the United States in 1997 after completing a Doctorate in Civil Engineering in the United Kingdom. He currently lives in New York City. Yoni has led environmental consulting firms for more than 25 years and has two grown children.
